- Project Engineer / Project Manager for a $46 million dollar addition and remodeling project.
- Provide plumbing, medical gas, fire protection, heating ventilating and air conditioning system.
- Provide a new boiler and chiller plant interconnected to the existing plants.
- Interconnect new medical air and vacuum systems with existing systems.
Metropolitan Mount Sinai Hospital - Minneapolis, Minnesota
- Provide a study of the existing chilled water distribution system for Metropolitan Mount Sinai Hospital and Hennepin County Medical Center.
- Install a 5,500 ton high-pressure steam turbine chiller interconnected with 5,000 ton of existing chillers.
- Provide new condenser water pumps, and primary water pumps.
- Modify piping, valving, and pumps in the distribution system.
- Modify the existing boilers from 125# to 250# steam pressure.
Fair Isaac - Shoreview, Minnesota
Data Center HVAC System Review:
- Review the existing Data Center HVAC system with emphasis on capacity and energy efficiency.
- Implement the study and remodel the area.
- Redistribute air from existing central plant systems.
- Add additional Computer Grade units connected to a glycol coolers.
- Revise pumping and piping as required.
Review Effects of Anticipated Failure of the Main Supply Units:
- Recommend options to mitigate failure of supply units to keep the Data Center in operation.
- Implement the project by working with the Owner and Contractor to provide a back-up supply blower connected to the existing supply unit cooling coils which enable rebuilding the existing blower bearings and replacing the existing blower motor with no loss of cooling to the Data Center.
Health East, Midway Office - St. Paul, Minnesota
- Provide engineering services to convert Midway Hospital into an office complex with an out-patient surgery department, utilizing as much of the existing systems as practical.
- Convert existing high pressure steam boilers were converted to low pressure.
- Add a chiller and cooling tower to replace failed equipment.
- Modify piping arrangements.
- Modify HVAC systems to provide acceptable environmental control.
- Produce project utilizing a GMP package, fast tracked with selected contractors.
